Rooftop Antenna

Every building will have an OTA (Over the Air) rooftop antenna which will acquire free television signals without the need for an indoor antenna, or the need for premium television to get local channels. The antenna will be good enough to acquire at least 50 channels which should be enough for most people. Each unit will have an amplified switch to connect all of the coaxial lines in the unit to the communications closet. You will simply connect the TV LAN port which will be the output for the amplified switch to the OTA coaxial jack. Once that is done, all coaxial feeds in the unit will connect with the OTA antenna.

This will allow you to switch to a cable TV provider. Even if not yet available, the communications closet will be wired for both Xfinity, and Verizon (may not be everywhere). Even if you chose cable TV, you can attach a Tablo to the OTA jack to record local channels and view them over the unit’s network. They will just need a connected smart TV to view the recordings.
