Why Zorin OS?

To be all honest, I have faced too much trouble with Windows 11. The only advantage I see having Windows is how they handle drives, and assigning a letter to each drive. This is something I miss, but otherwise, the OS is bloated, and a complete mess for an operating system. The only reason that Windows is so popular is its pre-installation with most computers. I will choose to go a different route.

With that said, I will make Zorin OS the preferred OS for all of the businesses including FSP Realty. With Zorin, there will be an office suite support Open Document Formats. There will be a text editor, and an email client. The email client will support multiple accounts for supporting the 2 email accounts every receptionist, and I will need to access. There will also be a web browser. Since this is a work computer, there is no need for installing games, or any fun things. Employees that would wish to play games in their free time will be recommended to acquire their own notebook PC that they can take with them.

And since Zorin OS is open source code, it would allow a community of programmers to find and offer patches to bugs, or security flaws. This makes Zorin more secured than the bloated and problematic Windows. Also, since the office is not using Windows, they are immune to all Windows Malware, and viruses. Still, everyone will be taught good practices with regards to the network, and connections.

And since there will be files that will need to be the same throughout the network (such as applications and leases), all such documents will sit on a file server. All business files will be stored here – therefore providing a continuously up to date file access. This will allow for the computer systems that the employees will use to have smaller hard drives. The only thing they will need on the drive is the Zorin OS, and any special applications.
